- Another hidden gem that is popular with the Newman locals is Three Pools, Eagle Rock Falls and Pool.
- These permanent water holes have given locals a rewarding cool dip in the heat of summer and a spectacular show of cascading waterfalls during the wet.
- Three Pools is located on the way to Eagle Rock Falls. Permanent, deep water holes within a steep sided gorge.
- Great camp site but not recommended for vehicles towing anything due to limited space to turn around.
- Spectacular views of cliffs and Coondiner Gorge with impressive waterfalls after heavy rain.
- Eagle Rock Pool is a popular campsite with a good swimming hole.
- Eagle Rock falls is only a short 2km walk from the pool and is considered the main attraction. The southern end of the Coondiner Gorge is surrounded by red cliffs of volcanic rock.
- This area is popular with rock wallabies and local climbers. During the wet season, the falls are 12 and 60m high. Perch are found in the upper pools.
