Our Perth Hills hold a treasure trove of activity and plenty of life beneath the canopy. From babbling brooks to beautiful wildflowers and wide open vistas of the city, there’s a spot to satisfy anyone’s interests.
Lesmurdie Falls, located in the Mundy Regional Park in the hills east of Perth, is one of the more spectacular waterfalls on the Darling Range escarpment.
There are a number of walk trails you can explore from here depending on the time you have, your level of fitness and the degree of difficulty you choose.
This walk is particularly recommended in winter and spring when the rains swell Lesmurdie Brook which tumbles over the Darling Range Escarpment.
The Mundy Regional Park about 20km east of Perth, featuring an extensive network of walk trails that are popular for their panoramic views and granite outcrops.
There are many trails here that allow you great views and access to this spectacular site.
Some are easy and only need 30 minutes to walk, while others can take up to a couple of hours. No matter which path you choose though, you won’t be disappointed.
